Certified Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion
December 2024: My clinical schedule is full at the moment and I'm not currently accepting new clients. Please check out my colleagues below.
I'm one of Bangkok's most experienced expatriate Psychologists (which isn't difficult because there aren't too many of us! ;) ). I've been practicing psychotherapy for more than 25 years. I encourage you to look at several therapists since how well you connect with your therapist is one of the best predictors of whether you'll benefit from therapy so it's important to find someone you connect with (and if at first you don't succeed then try and try again). Please check out my wonderful colleagues at PSI and also check out New Counseling Services, and Catherine Barbier (link in French-Catherine provides services in French and English).
I see clients in person at my office in central Bangkok and also online. I accept clients from around Thailand and the entire Asia-Pacific region (I do not accept clients currently residing in North America). I use a empirically-based, integrative approach to psychotherapy that can be called experiential behavioral therapy which fosters the three pillars of effective therapy including the integration of practical mindfulness and self-compassion skills in ways that fit with and empower each client.
My next Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) courses will begin in January 2025 on Monday evenings! This is a great option if 1-1 therapy is too expensive. Registration opens soon. The course is interactive, experiential and dynamic, not boring lecture. You will learn about yourself and connect with others!
MSC changes people's lives!
I always welcome your questions.
